Fife Power Ltd, a subsidiary of Cambridge Power, is developing plans for a 100MW battery energy storage system (BESS) on the site of the redundant Fife Power Station, now rebranded as Fife Environmental Energy Park.

The purpose of this website is to provide additional information about the scheme.

Following our public consultations in October and November 2024, our application for the proposed 100MW BESS has now been formally submitted to the Scottish Energy Consents Unit for determination. For further details regarding the application, please click here.
